Therapy that helps patients move, function and communicate
Physical, occupational and speech therapy, delivered where the results have to hold. A patient who can walk the length of a clinic hallway has not necessarily solved their own staircase — so we work on the staircase.
- Physical, occupational and speech therapy
- Goals measured against real tasks
- Progress reported back to the referring clinician
Three disciplines
Physical Therapy
The treatment of disease, injury, or deformity by physical methods such as massage, heat treatment, and exercise rather than by drugs or surgery.
Occupational Therapy
A form of therapy for those recuperating from physical or mental illness that encourages rehabilitation through the performance of activities required in daily life.
Conditions and goals we are asked about
Every plan is built from an evaluation. These are the goals patients most often bring us.
- Walking, turning, stairs and balance after surgery, a stroke or a fall
- Strength and endurance after a long hospital admission
- Dressing, bathing, cooking and other daily activities
- Safe technique and adaptive equipment for one-handed or seated tasks
- Communication and cognition after a neurological event
- Swallowing and voice concerns, assessed within scope
How to start
Referral or order
Where a referral or order is required, we confirm it with the referring clinician before the evaluation.
Benefits review
We review the coverage pathway with you so the first session is not the moment you learn about cost.
Evaluation
A therapist assesses the patient against the tasks that actually matter to them.
Personalized plan
Goals, frequency and a home program that works with what is in the house.
Progress updates
The plan advances as the patient does, and progress goes back to the referring clinician.
For referring providers
- Clear referral instructions and a named contact for questions
- Evaluation findings and progress returned to you in writing
- Coordination with home health nursing where both are involved
- Communication at discharge, not just at intake
Common questions
What is the difference between PT and OT?
Physical therapy targets movement — strength, gait and balance. Occupational therapy targets the tasks that movement is for, such as dressing, bathing and cooking. Many patients are seen for both.
Where does therapy take place?
The setting is confirmed when care is arranged, because it depends on the patient's needs and the referral. Ask us about a specific patient and we will tell you what we can offer.
Do you treat all age groups?
Tell us about the patient when you contact us and we will confirm whether the referral fits our clinicians' scope and our current staffing.
Is therapy covered by insurance?
Coverage depends on the benefit, authorization and medical necessity. We will explain the pathway rather than promise an outcome. Availability and coverage vary by service, location, clinical need, authorization, and payer requirements.
Request therapy, or send us a referral.
Tell us the patient's goals and we will guide you to the right therapy pathway and next step.
