Ambulatory Service is mobility at your front door. People who have difficulties walking are able to be assisted by GMT staff. From the front door to our vehicle a trained GMT staff member will be with our clients every step of the way. GMT vehicles are comfortable, clean, odor free and undergo regular service checks to ensure the highest level of comfort and safety as our clients are transported to their destination. Our vision is to provide quality access to quality care.

General Medical provides exceptional wheelchair transportation to fit the needs of our clientele. General Medical vehicles are equipped with electric wheelchair ramps and lifts that allows easy entry and exit from our vehicles. GMT can also provide its wheelchair bound clients with an EMT, if necessary, to ensure the highest level of care.

Patients in need of transportation that require the use of a stretcher can also be transported by General Medical. Our vehicles are equipped with gurneys that are certified to be safe by the American Medical Association (AMA).

Ambulance Transportation is for people who need acute medical care outside a hospital usually injured in an accident or due to illness. We offer Basic life support, Advanced Life Support and Critical Care Transport in the Los Angeles area.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is the basic level of medical care needed for patients with life threatening injuries or illness. This service is provided by our certified Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics who have had years of experience in the field. Basic Life support (BLS) can also be provided by one of our staff who has received Basic Life Support Training and certification.

General Medical provides services beyond our BLS service with our Advance Life Support team. Here we are able to provide an ALS Technician who can provide intubation, cardiac defibrillation and monitoring, and administer drugs through and intravenous. At General Med we have a well-trained team of ALS technicians who are always ready to provide our clients with the utmost care.

Critical Care Transport (CCT) is a level of care designed to meet the needs of critically ill or severely injured patients during transport. We can provide ICU-level care as we transport patients from one destination to another. General Medical has experts available to transport patients locally and long distance with urgency and safety in mind.

General Medical is able to provide air transportation to clients in need. Our state of the art Air Ambulance is able to transport our clientele, in comfort, along with any and all necessary medical staff, across the country and worldwide.

GMT provides translation services in over 40 different languages including, but not limited to, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Armenian, Vietnamese, French, German and Hebrew.

At General Medical our staff will be happy to assist you with any home health care need you have. We offer Home Health Services including Intravenous Injection Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses and Physical Therapists. We have a professional team that will meet your needs in a timely fashion.
